This weekend was a pretty good one, overall. I spent a lot of family time, which while not the most exciting thing ever, isn't a bad time. (It was my dad's side of the family, my mom's is the more fun group.)
Yesterday, I went to a party with Josh and met some of his friends. They seemed nice enough; I didn't really talk to anyone much, I was just shook a lot of hands and smiled a lot. But I had a good time, and that is all that really matters.
Really, the only exciting thing that happened this weekend was me locking my keys in my car. My dad had to drive my spare up to me in Saegertown. 9_9 I'm an idiot.

Happy Birthday Ian!
Today is my little brother's 17th birthday. ^_^ To celebrate, my family had dinner at one of the chinese restaurants in Greenville.
I've had a decent week at work. There is no material for the break press, so I've been bouncing around in scaffolding, doing different jobs every day. It's a lot like labor pool, but without the threat of extrusion or the sweeper truck. Today was very nice, because I got to listen to a good radio station (yesterday was country music all day long, I thought I was going to go crazy) and it was much cooler today. Yay for the cold wave.
Josh and I have been jogging, we have mainly going to Lake Wilhelm and running on the trail there. It's nice, there are few bugs. We run from the beginning to the two mile mark, then back, so four miles total. It makes me feel good about myself that I can still run for four miles, even if it is only at a ten-minute-mile pace.
I borrowed the sixth Harry Potter book from a friend, and I read it. I, like everyone else, will have to read it again before saying much more about it.

Day in Sharon
I went shopping yesterday. I spent mad cash, but I got a lot for it. Josh and I went to the mall in Sharon, where we went to J.C. Penny's, Sears, and Pac Sun. I got two outfits and a pair of earings, then I bought Ian a set of Craftsman pliers for his birthday on Wednesday. We're having a party tomorrow for him. Josh bought pants at Pac Sun for almost as much as I spent on two outfits. Then we went for dinner in Greenville, then stopped at Big Lots, where I bought cheap anime. It was a very good day. ^_^ Of course, I didn't get enough sleep last night so I'm tired today, but you'll have that. Now I'm looking for a plane ticket to go visit Artie sometime next month, because I really, really, really hate that drive.

Water Skiing!! (Again)
So, I got up on one ski today, and I went around the lake twice before I let go. So, go me. I'm quite pleased with myself. Not only did I get up, but I didn't fall down. I got home from work this morning, and went to bed after calling Artie, then I got up at 1:30 and headed to the lake. I'm going to be tired tonight, I think.
I spent last night driving the sweeper truck around for eight hours. That sucked. It was terribly boring, and I didn't make any incentive. But I am sure that things could have been worse. At least it was cool in there last night, and I do get paid a few extra cents just for it being third shift.
Went jogging with Josh last night, that was fun, though we did get swarmed by insane deer flies. We're going again tonight. I like jogging before work, it helps to get my blood flowing before I go in there, I have an easier time staying awake.
At the moment, I'm just starving, and we still don't know what we're doing for dinner. I will probably have to take action myself if I want to eat anytime soon.
I got my little comic strip about ebills today. I would like to ask why in the world the school decided to give us a comic instead of just an explanation list thing. The whole dialogue between confused student and annoying robot got on my nerves pretty quickly. But maybe that's just me. Maybe other people find it adorable. Who knows.

I don't wanna go to work!
Well, really, this week hasn't been bad. I've been packing material in inspect pack so far this week, and we're always done early and I get to sit around for a while at the end of the day. But who knows if my luck will last.
My parents got a new computer, thus I can post again. Woot. I don't have much to say, or much time, I leave for work in about five minutes. I watched The Phantom of the Opera this weekend, I really liked it. I might have to buy it. ^_^ Went jogging with Josh today, that was fun. Jogging is good for me and stuff.
Well, must go, probably more later.

Long Week
Well, my parents computer is dead, so I'm on my grandmother's. Woot. I would have been online earlier, and posted earlier, but.... as I said. Dead computer. Our power went out on Wednesday around 3:oo, and it didn't come back on till 4:30 am. It sucked. And when the power did come back, our computer didn't work anymore.
Well, this week went well, and quickly. I was working in Fabrication, on days. I ran a saw and an automatic gage machine, and then I packed material for two days. They guy that I worked with on Thursday and Friday was really cool, so I had a very good two last days. It did get really hot in the plant this week, as is to be expected since it was so fucking hot outside. It got over 100 pretty much every day. I'm just glad that I was working days instead of midnights.
Other than that, I pretty much hung out all week. I have a new friend, his name is Josh, he goes to kung fu with me and lives about five seconds away from my house, so that's convinient. Last night we went and bought him a new digital camera, which is cool, I'm jealous.
Next week, I'm back on midnights, and in labor pool, which is probably code for extrusion. That really sucks, but it's better than afternoon turn, anyway. And on midnights, I get a little extra money just for being there at that time. It's only like 20 cents an hour, but it's still 20 cents an hour.
Well, I must go. Cannot hog grandma's computer for forever. ^_^

Water skiing!!
I got to go water skiing yesterday! It was totally sweet. The water was choppy, and I fell on my face a couple of times, but that's just all part of the fun. Of course, I'm sore now, but who cares. It's good to be sore. Means I'm working my muscles. My friend Josh from kung fu came with us, we tried to teach him to ski, and he did manage to get up once, so I guess we were at least partly sucessful. Then after dinner we went to his house and watched movies. Overall, I had a very good day. First thing in the morning, I got my hair cut—nothing drastic, mind you. But I love it. So I'm happy.
I'm back on days starting tomorrow, so no more midnights for me! At least not for this week. I'm in Fabrication this week, running a saw. I'm not sure exactly what to expect, but it won't be too bad. I might even get a paid lunch.
I also got to talk to Adam yesterday, and that is always a good thing. As all of you know, I miss my friends! So, if you read this you can more than likely consider yourself missed. ^_^ Now, I'm going to go back to watching This Old House. I love PBS.

Midnights
So, I started working midnights last night. I had to go in at 10 pm on the fourth of July. My sleep cycle is all broken now, and my sense of time, which was already weak, is completly destroyed. I work from 10-6:30, assisting on the ladder machine, which secures rungs between rails. The guy I'm working with, who is very nice, puts the rung in and runs two rails between the machine, then I take the completed thing and load it onto a flat. If it's too heavy to lift, I use a crane. And I fetch new material for us to use with the crane. I didn't have to drive the lift truck, he did that. I think that was a good idea, I had enough trouble with the crane. But we still got done early and I got to sit for over an hour at the end of the day. That's when I started to get sleepy. But I made it through the drive home okay, so all is well.

Family fun
So, my mother, my aunt, my grandmother, Artie, and I went to the winery today. That was fun. Tomorrow we're going skiing. I'm excited about the skiing. However, I also have to go to a stupid rehersal dinner for a friend who isn't really talking to me, and I don't want to go. I'm hoping to get in and get out as quickly as possible. Then the wedding is on Monday, then, I have to go to work at 10 Monday night, because I'm switching over to midnights this week. I'll truly understand Adam's pain after this week, I think. But there are good things about midnights.. it's cooler in the plant, I get paid more just for being on the shift, I'm on a higher incentive job, and I get to drive a lift truck. Woot.
I should get offline because I'm hoping for a phone call from Adam, actually. I'll put up a more detailed post at some point later.
