About Me

I grew up in Stoneboro, PA.  I graduated from Lakeview High school in 2002, and I received my BA in creative writing from the University of Pittsburgh at Bradford in 2006.  I write science fiction, fantasy, and horror short stories.  I read slush for Clarkesworld Magazine and I've worked as an assistant editor for the Triangulation Annual Anthology Series since 2008.

I enjoy science fiction and fantasy in all of their forms. I also like anime, tabletop and Xbox rpgs, musicals, and nature documentaries.  My Xbox gamertag is AnyaSelena, and you can find me on both Facebook and Twitter.

I currently live in Pittsburgh with my husband, Paul, and our cat, Zuko.  I am a member of the Pittsburgh-based writing group Write or Die, and I attended James Gunn's Science Fiction Writer's Workshop at the Center for the Study of Science Fiction at the University of Kansas in 2010.  My
