So, things are going pretty well for me. Busy, but that's okay. I just learned to do Reiki yesterday, which is cool. It essentially involves getting attuned to the energy so I can be a conduit for it. And there are spirit guides involved. It's pretty out there, but I really like it. (And my spirit guide is a unicorn!)
I've been taking workshops every weekend, and tomorrow is the first day since Paul's birthday that I won't be at the school. It'll be nice to have a day off. I'm at work now. But it shouldn't be a bad day, it's open house and the building is full of people, but that should keep me busy. And that will make the day go faster. Other than Reiki yesterday, I have learned Michael Young's Muscle Release Technique, Spa Stone massage, and Pregnancy massage. Next week I have Reiki 2, then I get a bit of a break from workshops. I'm getting pretty overloaded with information, between workshops and normal classes, which include Touch for Health, Myofascial, and Shiatsu.
I threw Paul a surprise party for his birthday, and that was a lot of fun. There was ice cream cake and DDR and Guitar Hero and Apples to Apples. Justin, Ben, Grant, Paul, and I all had a great time, and we saved Wendy a piece of ice cream cake. My birthday was a few days later, and a normal day. But I have gotten some sweet presents. Paul got me DDR and Porco Rosso and an Order of the Stick book.
Lance is coming to visit today on his way to Atlanta, and Vita is coming over for lunch tomorrow. Then, Paul and I are going to surprise his mom for mother's day, then we're off to Justin's graduation party. Which will be fun.
More Justin stuff, I've set a double date up for him and my friend Brittany with Paul and me. They're both really excited and it's adorable. ^_^ It'll be a lot of fun. We're hoping to get it set up for the Wednesday after next. Woot! Also, we've started up a GURPS game with Paul's brother and Ben at Justin's house. The first session was fun, once we got to it. Of course before we did, Justin made me as angry as I've ever been by not being home when we got there. He was at Sears getting a washer and dryer. I was like screaming and shaking mad. But it's all better now. ^_^ I'm forgiving. And I do really love Justin like a brother.
Speaking of brothers, Ian is having some serious physical problems. I am worried about his stress level. And my dad nearly cut off his own finger with a chain saw a few weeks ago. Luckily, they're both okay, but still. I worry. I'm going to go visit my family next weekend. I'm looking forward to seeing them. Matt and Ian are both done for the summer, so they'll be home. And Grandma and Grandpa are home, too.
I've got a new job doing massages at a gym, and I'm getting massages for mother's day at the school. So, I'm making money! Woot. Speaking of, I must go do my job.
