Update. It's sort of crappy.

I've started working as a retail assistant at the Pittsburgh School of Massage Therapy store. It's cool. Weird, becuase I'm both a student and a quasi-faculty member, but cool. It's strange to go to work and school at the same place, it makes my days get all screwed up. But the work is going pretty well. I really like working with Stacey and Marie.

Friday is my official graduation from the Foundations program, which is odd since we've started the advanced program already. My parents are coming down, which is cool. It's only the second time Dad's been down since I moved, and the first time was in March. I'm looking forward to seeing them. I missed them at Easter because Paul and I were both really sick and we needed to stay home and get well. We did go out to his parents' house the day before, and they transferred Paul's car over to his name.

I went to Seattle at the end of March. (And I got sick and brought the evil head cold plague of doom with me) and I had a pretty good time. Savannah and I went to the zoo and the opera and the fish market. I got pretty new clothes. Savannah looks great. She's moving in with her boyfriend, who didn't make the greatest impression on me. It seemed to me that he puts a much greater value on his friends than on Savannah. And that's not good. They should be at least equal, I think. But it was a stressful weekend, and I might be judging him too harshly. Who knows. As long as he makes Savannah happy, I can't dislike him too hard.

If anyone is in the Pittsburgh area and wants a massage, let me know. I'm officially in practice now. I'm going to be working from home and I am hoping to do some professional clinic massages at the school.

I'm submitting my story to the PARSEC short story contest this week. Wish me luck.

This is a horrible and disjointed blog post. I'm tired and still a little sick and not organized at all. The house is a hideous mess, and I have to clean before my parents come down. Luckily, I have Friday off.

I don't know what I think if shiatzu. My first class left me thinking maybe I should have gone with the Medical advanced program instead of the Asian. But we'll see what happens. Plus, I will get to take the Medical program when I'm done with the Asian.

My birthday is coming up. And so is Paul's. I've ordered him sweet presents. ^_^

Wendy and I hung out at the Monroeville mall last night while Grant had class. We had a really good time.

We went to see the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles movie with my parents when they were down. I loved it. It made me very happy. Then, the next day, Paul, Ben, and I went to see Pan's Labyrinth. It was also really good. Really graphic. But really good. And TNMT just rocked. I loved the animation style.

Ben and I went and explored Shenly Park last week. It's beautiful. And there are great paths for the walking or the jogging.

Paul and I stopped by to see Justin on our way home from Latrobe. Justin was working. He works all of the fricking time. It can't be healthy. Anyway, we stopped by his store in the mall and they would only let him out for five minutes. Jerks.
