Second Harvest Celebration

So, Wednesday night was fun. And I learned a few things, too. It was my first experience with an open circle, and it was pretty cool. There was guided meditation and a libation/giving thanks thing. And there was food after the ceremony. Savannah, Suzanne, Michelle, and I went down to Erie for it, and I think that we were pretty much all glad that we went.

Today, Josh is coming to visit, but before I can look forward to that, I have a econ test to take. Tests suck. *sigh* But after that, all I have left to do today is workout and go belly dancing, and those are things that I enjoy.

In the gaming scene, things are going pretty well. My Mutants and Masterminds character, Seraphina, can fly 50,000,000 miles per hour if she needs to. She can get to the moon in three rounds. It's fucking crazy. And my Buffy character is having fun angst development—she's realized that no one really wants her around for anything other than her fighting ablility, and that's her least favorite bit of herself, she she's withdrawing from the group. She's going to be spending most of her time in her basement copying scrolls from Mandarin into English because that is the only thing other than fighting that anyone has shown any interest in her for. But hey, at least she got to see Serenity before all of the Centenial Day crap started. And Harriet's character did go to the movie with her, so maybe someone likes her for her. But she doubts it. In Mage, Serena's life continues to suck. But she's throwing herself into life in the dark ages pretty well, learning the swordplay and the Hermetic magic and such.

Well, I must go and take that damn econ test. Wish me luck.

50,000,000 mph? thats 0.077c; verging on relativistic speeds there...

Yeah... that's still pretty damn sweet.

I feel obligated to point out that if an observer measured her speed at 34.4 seconds at that speed, she herself would measure it (according to the Lorentz transform) at 34.37 seconds.
