Really, my sessions of D&D go better when I don't stat a single thing. I may never stat before a session again. Last night's session went very well, and I made every single thing up as we went along. I pulled encounters out of the monster manuel, the geography changed as I came up with monsters from different climates, and there was a town because my players needed healing right badly. In the gnomish nomadic town, Adam bought a slave girl, then her twin sister ran away to follow her after the party left. She's attached herself to Paul's character as his fighter apprentice. Adam's is his wife. The girls are the gnomish equalivelnt of 12-year-olds. But hey, they'll see more gold as cohorts to this adventuring party than would have passed through their village in their whole lifetimes.
In other news, the weekend was very good. Went to see The Brothers Grimm with Adam, Jeff, and Suzy. Then we went to the paper factory and Suzy and I tried on Halloween costumes. There was a Strawberry Shortcake costume there, and I had to try it on simply because of the Penny Arcade strip. It was cute. I loved the hat and the stockings.
I have a chem test in 40 minutes, and I should be studying, but I did study a lot this weekend and I think if I cram too hard my brain will just ooze out through my ears.
I'm sure that I have more things that I intended to mention on here, but I can't remember how long ago my last post was at this exact moment, so I'm going to leave it at that.
