Well, I went to PSU this weekend with Vita to see Michael Moore. The drive down was interesting, with construction and traffic and getting pulled over by Campus Police before I even left campus. But we got there okay, and went to Vita's friends' room. After everyone got there, we went to see Michael Moore, which was fun, he was definately entertaining.
But after that, the weekend really went to hell. Everyone was really nice. But I just didn't fit in. Everyone else knew each other, had known each other for years and years. I just didn't belong. Then, other factors came into play, and I was even more seperated from everyone else. We went to a party, where we sat on a couch for about half an hour listening to some really bad rap music, then the group split, half going back to the dorm room, the other half going on to another girl's house. I followed Vita, cause he was the closest thing to a friend I had there, even though at that point he hadn't even looked at me for about two hours, and I wasn't sure if he remembered that I existed or not. But I figured going back to the room would be a good idea, since my car keys were there, and I desperately wanted to have them on my person at that moment.
So, back to the room we went. I was at the back of the group, feeling like a third, fifth, and seventh wheel. I was pretty sure that if I just stopped walking, no one would notice. If I had known my way around Penn State, and had had my car keys, I totally would have left. But I couldn't. So I followed.
We got back to the room. After a while, I decided to try to sleep, because sleep would make the time go faster, and I could go home sooner. I didn't sleep well, though, because I was curled up in a ball at the foot of one of the beds, because I felt like my existance was annoying them, and I wanted to be as unobtrusive as possible. My back hurt so bad.
I woke up for good at about 10 am. I was completely overcome by this wave of homesickness. I hadn't been that homesick since Ireland. When I went to brush my teeth and stuff, I took my bag with me, and I decided to call Paul, because I needed to talk to someone. He told me I should just come home, so I told Vita that I wasn't having fun and wanted to leave. It took about 45 minutes, and then we were on the road. We rounded up Superfly, and I drove back while they slept.
Then, yesterday my internet went off for no apparent reason. We played Buffy, and that was, as always, fun.
