I ordered a unity candle yesterday. It should come in the mail in 2-3 weeks. It will be in this style, and it will have a chocolate band as an accent to match the brown throughout the rest of the wedding.
Invitations should be ready to send out by Monday. Announcements will probably have to wait till after Gen Con.
Also, when I picked out flowers, I also finalized the menu and picked out linen colors. The table cloths will be chocolate brown, and we'll have terra cotta napkins, except on the bridal party table, where the colors will be reversed.
Our menu consists of:
Veggie trays, fruit trays, and cookie trays to start.
Then the buffet of field green salad, fruit salad, pasta with a choice of red sauce, white sauce, or olive oil garlic sauce, baked chicken, green beans almondine, whipped potatoes, and rolls.
Then cake.
Then after a while a cheese tray if people get munchy, and the cookies will be out all night.
