GenCon
I forgot to mention GenCon in my summer over-view. I went with Paul and we met his friend Justin there. We had a good time. I was nervous about running, but most of my games went really well. The only one that didn't was one when only two people showed up. But one of them was a little girl who hugged me at the end, so I guess it didn't suck too hard. We didn't get a chance to play anything because of the way our time worked out, but we did demo some card games. (I don't like card games.) We also demoed (demo-ed? whatever.) the new mini game from WOTC. It was cool. The highlights were the GenCon play, which was the funniest thing I've ever seen, and going to an Q&A with Rich Burlew who writes Order of the Stick. I got a OOTS t-shirt, and he signed it. Is awesome, and I loveseses it. And he's cool and one of my two favorite webcomics and I got to see him. There was a pirate preformance and a dance. I went to an anime Q&A and got free anime. We got free stuff including some really sweet dice. I bought a whole bunch of new D10's. I got a Trigun setting book and GURPS Uplift. And I got free minis! And Kevin Sorbo was there, apparently being a dick, but I did see him. I didn't pay $30 for his autograph, though, which I feel was wise. Paul and I are looking forward to going again next year!

Well..
I was wrong, school doesn't start till Monday, according to Lance, who is my only friend still in school that I'm getting regular contact from. Yay for Lance, boo for the rest of you uncommunicative a-holes.
That is all.
That is all.
A flood of information
So, my last real post was before graduation. I graduated. The commencement speaker sucked. Then I went to Greece with Savannah and Dr. Thomas and all. We had a good time. It was one of those things that I look back on and am glad I did, but at the time there were definite moments of pure suck. I did get a tiny Turkish rug, and is is cool. I met some cool people, but they've kinda vanished off the face of the planet, I'm not sure what is up with that.
I got back, moved in with my grandma in Freeport, got a job at Panera. Hated it. Quit. Went to Virginia with Matt to visit Aunt Vicky and Pat Robinson University. Where the 700 club is filmed. Where Matt will probably go because it is free. It's a very pretty, expensive-looking campus. We came back and I moved to Pittsburgh. I got a new job at Spindle Publishing. (www.spindlepub.com) I do lots of stuff, I'm in charge of the Boston High School Graduate. I have to get articles, a cover, and advertisements. I'm doing okay on the first two. I have business cards and it's a really nice place to work. There is free tea.
Paul and I are living together, and it's going really well. He gets home first, and sometimes there's dinner ready when I get in. We're playing one-on-one White Wolf--he's running Mage and I'm running Changeling. Mage is AWESOME, and I think Changeling is going well, too. I'm thinking about a possible D&D game with Grant, Wendy, Paul, and Ben. Grant and Wendy are great neighbors, but they've been busy this month, so I haven't seen enough of them.
We just got a netflix membership. I still haven't gotten the electricity into my name because Dusquene Light is pure evil. We need residential parking passes, too.
I've been doing some writing. If anyone wants to read it, email me. I've been getting rejected left and right on the submitting scene.
We went to go see Snakes on a Plane. It was great. Clerks 2 was also really good. I know that I've seen more movies that that this summer, but I can't remember which ones.
I think school just restarted, and it's starting to hit me that I'm not going back. I miss it. But I'm happy here. But I still miss it.
Anyway, I'm at work and I really shouldn't be slacking like this. So, I'm off.

Okay, okay..
I'm at work, I get to leave in a minute. But here's a post. I'll get around to another one before the week is out. I promise. And it'll cover the last four months. At least a little.
