My day out

So, today I got up and went to tai chi, which was fun. I miss it. Then, I made pie crust and cleaned up the kitchen a bit. Then, Betsy came over and we went to her doctor's appoinment. Before we went there, though, we stopped for lunch at the EAT restaurant. The place had another name, but it wasn't memorable. We walked in and everyone in the place stared at us. Then, just before we got our food, a group of Mexicans walked in. These were real Mexicans. They spoke Spanish. I felt better, since Betsy and I were no longer the only ones from out of town there.

I sat at the doctor's office for 2.5 hours, I read some, then a crazy woman started talking to me. For about 45 minutes. About her health problems. I don't have to tell you how fascinating that was. Really. Great. *shudder* Apparently she was poisoned by moth balls. Moth balls are bad. She and her husband(?) boyfriend(?) had apparently spent over $600,000 trying to get better. So, everyone avoid moth balls.

After that, Betsy and I went to the clinic where my mom works because Betsy needed bloodwork. My mom got to stab her with a needle. Then, Betsy and I got pie, then I came home, had dinner, then I went to give Robin a backrub. And now I'm home. ^_^ And that's my day! How exciting!
