So, yesterday was Thanksgiving. My aunt and uncle came over, and we ate. That's really all that happened. Nothing exciting. At all.
Today, I went sledriding with my brother and a few of his friends. It was a very good time. The guys got our runner sleds all cleaned up, and we went over to another dirt road a couple over from mine. We spent a couple of hours outside, in the lovely winterish weather. Then, we came back home for cocoa and cookies. My mom and I went to rent movies, so that will probably be what I'm doing for most of tonight and tomorrow. And probably Sunday morning, too. Then, it's back to school. Woot.

USE MY LINKS!
Go read Betsy's version of our day. Her's is much better, and has more details. I am splitting my attention between my blog and CSI, so my post was pretty much crap. Go read hers. Really. Go. Now.
My day out
So, today I got up and went to tai chi, which was fun. I miss it. Then, I made pie crust and cleaned up the kitchen a bit. Then, Betsy came over and we went to her doctor's appoinment. Before we went there, though, we stopped for lunch at the EAT restaurant. The place had another name, but it wasn't memorable. We walked in and everyone in the place stared at us. Then, just before we got our food, a group of Mexicans walked in. These were real Mexicans. They spoke Spanish. I felt better, since Betsy and I were no longer the only ones from out of town there.
I sat at the doctor's office for 2.5 hours, I read some, then a crazy woman started talking to me. For about 45 minutes. About her health problems. I don't have to tell you how fascinating that was. Really. Great. *shudder* Apparently she was poisoned by moth balls. Moth balls are bad. She and her husband(?) boyfriend(?) had apparently spent over $600,000 trying to get better. So, everyone avoid moth balls.
After that, Betsy and I went to the clinic where my mom works because Betsy needed bloodwork. My mom got to stab her with a needle. Then, Betsy and I got pie, then I came home, had dinner, then I went to give Robin a backrub. And now I'm home. ^_^ And that's my day! How exciting!

I'm only posting the one. Really.
So, I'm apparently in touch with both my masculine and feminine sides..
I'm also lemon merangue pie.

You are pretty evenly split down the middle - a total eunuch. Okay, kidding about the eunuch part. But you do get along with both sexes. You reject traditional gender roles. However, you don't actively fight them. You're just you. You don't try to be what people expect you to be. |

DRESS!
It came, it came, it came!! And it fits! And the shoes are GREAT. And did I mention that the dress fits? The shoes fit too. WOOT!! *dances about*
So, yesterday, in Lit class, we had an in class assignment to write a conversation between two major environmental authors. My group, which was me, Adam, and Artie had Aldo Leopold and Jack London. It was great. Adam and I even acted out our script in front of the class. And then, Ulin said that we could do something like that as our paper for the class. I asked if Adam and I could work together on it, and he said yes. I'm am uber excited. I'm actually going to have fun writing a paper.

Running addicts
Adam and I just got back from a run. Is colder than freezing outside. My whole body feels like an ice cube, and my skin is a rather alarming shade of red. My ears hurt.
I think I'll look into some ear muffs before we go again.

Back in Bradford
So, it was a good weekend. I got me a new girlfriend. ^_~
I went to Pittsburgh with Jeff and Suzy to visit Grant and Wendy. Wendy and her friend whose name I cannot spell made turkey and stuffing and many other good Thanksgiving type food. There was a very yummy sweet potato casserole. However, I forgot my contact solution, case, and glasses when we left, so I had had my contacts in for waaay too long, so I was getting a migrane, and the food didn't help any, so after the food (which was truly delightful) I was trapped at the table, wanting to go lie down, listening to people talk about stuff that I had nothing to say about. And there were strangers. I'm bad with strangers.
But then I got to go lie down, and eventually felt better. My girlfriend rubbed my neck, and Jeff made me take out my contacts. The next morning, we went to Giant Eagle, bought new contact solution. So I could see and think clearly again. Though Wendy did loan me her glasses for the morning, which was nice of her, even though the difference in perscription was a bit funky. Grant and Jeff made us a nice breakfast, with many much meats and mushrooms and cheese and toast. Then we went to the mall, then we eventually got on the road at 8 pm, and got back around midnight. We stopped at the worst Eat'n Park in the world on the way home, you'll have to check Suzy's blog to hear more about it—suffice it to say that it was slightly grubby and they played Ace of Base on the radio.
The first photographic evidence of me kissing another girl came into being this weekend. Jeff has the picture, I'm assuming that he plans to hoarde it.
Today was a decent day, I registered for classes. I'm taking 17 credits and sitting in on 6 more. I am officially insane. I'm in intro to psych, stage combat, writing from the self, time travel fiction, Ancient Greece, downhill skiing, and I'm taking piano lessons. I'm also sitting in on Baily's Beads and Europe in the 20th Century. I also have to fit in eight hours of work. But I will have my weekends free still. Woot. And having writing classes again makes me very happy. I'm looking forward to next semester. The only thing I will miss is ceramics. I will miss ceramics a lot. I really, really, really enjoy ceramics.
Okay, going to go do something in game now. WOOT.

Additional additional
So, Suzy told me that my dress has probably actually left Phoenix, and USPS just didn't scan it, and they won't scan it again till it arrives in Bradford. The bastards. She also told me that UPS would probably have to scan something when the driver stopped for a bathroom break. I think I like UPS's way better, that way I could obsess more effectively. Not that I'm not doing pretty well on that on my own, I mean, how many posts have I put up about my dress now??
Additional...
Adam thinks that there's a dude in Phoenix trying on my outfit. Uck. I really hope that there isn't. I would rather blame incompetence than depravity.
DAMN PHOENIX!!
The fuckers still have my package! They have hoarded it for the last THREE DAYS!! Stupid post office. *grumble grumble*

Sometimes I know myself too well
And sometimes I wonder if I really did have the world figured out at fourteen, and all this cheerful bullshit that I've picked up since then is just that.

Pie flavored candy!
Lance and I are plotting. Both to create a new, wonderful form of sweet, and to defeat gravity. Our plans seem solid, but we shall see. Gravity is a wiley opponet, and I don't know how much money there is to be made in the candy business.
Tomorrow is Wednesday. That is both good and bad. Bad because of everything before 9:00, good because Buffy is after that. Woot.
I am bored. I am also stressing about my schedule. However, I did edit my story today, and that makes me very, very happy. I have to let more critical people read it now. Here's hoping that no one makes me cry. *crosses fingers*

The Toledo Zoo (it rocks)
So, this weekend I drove out to Toledo, OH to visit my best friend/sister Betsy. The drive was rather crap, and I was going on two hours of sleep, so I lisentened to loud pop music and ate chocolate to keep awake. But I got to Betsy's house without incident. She made me lunch, gave me a tour of her appartment, and introduced me to her cat. Radar (the cat) is adorable and fun. After food, we went to the Toledo Zoo, where Betsy has a membership, so we got in for free. The Toledo Zoo is absolutely fabulous. There is an aquarium, with sea dragons, and wolves, and polar bears, and lions, and tigers, and sloth bears, and penguins, and otters, and pretty much anything else you can think of that they would keep in a zoo. Is a big ass zoo.
After that, we went out for dinner at the Olive Garden, where I had one very large cocktail and was embarassingly out of it, because I drank it on an empty stomache, and because I was still running on two hours of sleep. But dinner was great. I had four cheese tortelini with shrimp, then I had cappuchino and chocolate cheese cake for dessert. Then, we went to walmart and bought things for facials and make up and stuff, then we went to the grocery store for more booze. We spent the rest of the evening in our bras, doing facials, listening to music, doing our nails, and drinking. It was great.
The next morning, we hung out for a while, having girl talk and stuff, then I had to get on the road. I drove across Ohio, then down to Meadville to pick Matt up, then we met our parents for dinner at Applebees. That was another entirely pleasant meal, I had steak. And apple pie. Then, I drove back home and ran D&D. I came up with random plot, and now I have to decide what to do with it. Should be a rocking good time. Now, I must go get lunch at the cafeteria, which I'm pretty sure will be dissapointing.

Slinky Dress! And Shoes!
So, I was bored, so I went to the Fredericks of Hollywood page. I have been looking for a nice little black dress for a while, because I don't have one and every girl needs one. I was browsing, and I found a really, really pretty dress. On crazy sale. Marked down to $24.99 from $89.00. I was on the fence, till I saw that they only had it left in my size. It was a sign. Then, I looked at the matching shoes, and those were only left in my size too. Another sign. And it didn't hurt that the shoes were marked down to $10.99 from $39.00. So, I bought them. They should ship in one to two business days. I also made a Fredericks of Hollywood wish list. They have lots of pretty things that I cannot afford.
Tomorrow, I leave bright and early for Betsy's. I'm going to stop and visit Matt on my way home. I'll probably have dinner with him and drop off his birthday present. Woot. I love giving gifts.
Today was a pretty damn good day. I went to all of my classes, and they were all actually pretty interesting, then I spent over an hour at Paul's—I meant to leave after half an hour, but... *shrug* It was fun. Then I went to the bank and deposited my tiny paycheck (sometimes I really do miss Werner's) then I went to Jeff and Suzy's for bellydancing and dinner.
Then, I went to work, and the pool was invaded by children from 7-8, but at least it was only an hour and nothing really bad happened. I had some little kids tattling to me, and I really didn't care, and they expected me to do something, and the was pretty crap, but then they left and everything was better.
Now, I'm sitting around my room. I'm going to clean up a bit, so as to leave my room quasi-neat before I leave for the weekend, and then I'm going to get to bed early so I can actually get on the road on time in the morning.

But I'm not evil! Really!
People keep telling me that I am, and I think we should put it to an official vote. If you would like to participate in said vote, just post a comment with your opinion! ^_~ I'm hoping to come back non-evil, but I promise not to alter the results any. Cross my heart and hope to die.
