Today has ended up pretty decently. At least I got to go and belly dance with Savannah and Suzanne. Classes are not even worth mentioning.
But on to things that are. As pretty much anyone who reads this knows, I returned home for the Great Stoneboro Fair (Always on Labor Day) last weekend. I took along Savannah and Adam this year, and much fun was had by all. On the first night of the weekend, we snuck into the fair because we didn't feel like paying eight dollars to walk around. We climbed over fences. we walked through mud. We climbed under yet more fences. And then we walked around. Then we went to Josh's house and watched bad old kung fu movies.
On the first day of the weekend, Josh joined us and we went for a 12 mile hike around Lake Wilhelm, then Savannah, Adam, and I went to the Wilhelm Winery open house, where we drank wine and bought more, and it was Savannah's first wine tasting, then we went back to my house and squeezoed tomatoes for my mother to make into sauce. We had fun doing chores. Really. The only downside was the mosquitoes.
Then on Sunday Josh again joined us and we went to the fair for 10 glorious hours of fun. We rode rides. We ate food. We looked at bunnies. We watched fireworks. Then we returned to my house and drank wine and talked. *happy sigh* It was a good weekend. My mother made us breakfast and dinner and so we got to eat pancakes and steak.
The squeezo makes fun noises. heh heh heh.
And Adam and I have started watching Beastmaster, which is such a terrible show, but it's just hilarious.
And now it is late and I must away to bed. I'll try not to let so many things happen before my next post.
