I forgot my homework at Justin's, and he just went to meet Justin to get it and left me here because I'm not feeling great. My tummy hurts. He's so good to me. I love him so much.
Today was a good day, overall. Paul and I went to Confluence, PARSEC's convention, and I was on a panel and read my story to a small but still intimidating audience. I had a good time. I'm glad we went. But now I'm tired, so I'm going to go to bed and wait for my wonderful man to come back home to me.
Have I mentioned how much I love him?

A good time was had by all
Paul and I went to our biweekly writers meeting last night. It went really well. I had a story up for review, and pretty much everyone said a few nice things, and they gave me some useful suggestions. Then we went out for pie.

And now two in as many days!!
I'll bet no one was expecting this! A second post!
I don't have to take research class! *dance* Alison and I got out of it and it makes me happy and I now have somewhere around 13.5 hours of my life back! Woot! EXCLAMATION POINTS!!
And anatomy continues to be sort of crappy. The teacher is an okay enough guy, but I just don't like his teaching style. He repeats the same things over and over and over again and just when you think he's done he goes back and keeps beating that poor dead horse.

Mmm, bad at posting
I've been busy. I know, that's not the best excuse for not posting for more than two months, but it's all I've got.
School is okay, my classes this term are sort of the suck, but I'll get through them. I have to make flashcards sometime before tomorrow. I really don't want to. Homework is stupid. I'll be working at the school till Sept. 9, then I have to get work someplace else. Well, hopefully I find a job that starts right after that, but you know what I mean.
One of my stories won second place in the PARSEC short story contest, which made me very happy. I got $100 for it. No publication, though, since the timing between PARSEC and Triangulation, their associated magazine was off this year. That was a bit of a disappointment. And I'm going to their convention next Sunday and I'll be in a panel and reading my story and doing autographs. Yes. Autographs. It's...weird. I can't imagine that anyone will want one. But we'll see. Getting signed up to go was pretty haphazard and unprofessional, but it's done now. Hopefully I'll have a good time, and if not I'll at least learn something.
Read Harry Potter 7. Was very satisfying. Also have enjoyed The Transformers, Die Hard 4, Harry Potter 5, and Pirates of the Caribbean 3 this summer on the big screen. I was a bit disappointed with Shrek 3 and even more so with Spiderman 3. The Transformers is my favorite movie of the summer so far.
Paul quit his job, was unemployed for a while, and is starting a new job on Monday. He's also had a few articles published by Pyramid magazine and has a book proposal in at e23. I'm proud of him.
We joined a writing group a while ago. They all seem like nice people. The shy part of my nature kicks in pretty hard when we go, though, so I'm not sure what they think of me. I haven't had as much time to write as I'd like, but at least I'm still trying.
Well, that's all the news I can think of.
