So, I have a cold. I feel very miserable. Breathing is difficult. And I'm tired all over.
But in other news, my weekend was good. Josh and I watched a lot of anime. And Corpse Bride was very good. The week has been going pretty well, though tomorrow is Wednesday, so we'll see how that goes.
Serenity comes out on Friday!! I am excited. Then, I'm going home on Saturday, getting my car inspected and going on a date. I will be back on Sunday to work.

Second Harvest Celebration
So, Wednesday night was fun. And I learned a few things, too. It was my first experience with an open circle, and it was pretty cool. There was guided meditation and a libation/giving thanks thing. And there was food after the ceremony. Savannah, Suzanne, Michelle, and I went down to Erie for it, and I think that we were pretty much all glad that we went.
Today, Josh is coming to visit, but before I can look forward to that, I have a econ test to take. Tests suck. *sigh* But after that, all I have left to do today is workout and go belly dancing, and those are things that I enjoy.
In the gaming scene, things are going pretty well. My Mutants and Masterminds character, Seraphina, can fly 50,000,000 miles per hour if she needs to. She can get to the moon in three rounds. It's fucking crazy. And my Buffy character is having fun angst development—she's realized that no one really wants her around for anything other than her fighting ablility, and that's her least favorite bit of herself, she she's withdrawing from the group. She's going to be spending most of her time in her basement copying scrolls from Mandarin into English because that is the only thing other than fighting that anyone has shown any interest in her for. But hey, at least she got to see Serenity before all of the Centenial Day crap started. And Harriet's character did go to the movie with her, so maybe someone likes her for her. But she doubts it. In Mage, Serena's life continues to suck. But she's throwing herself into life in the dark ages pretty well, learning the swordplay and the Hermetic magic and such.
Well, I must go and take that damn econ test. Wish me luck.

The Path of Random Encounters
Really, my sessions of D&D go better when I don't stat a single thing. I may never stat before a session again. Last night's session went very well, and I made every single thing up as we went along. I pulled encounters out of the monster manuel, the geography changed as I came up with monsters from different climates, and there was a town because my players needed healing right badly. In the gnomish nomadic town, Adam bought a slave girl, then her twin sister ran away to follow her after the party left. She's attached herself to Paul's character as his fighter apprentice. Adam's is his wife. The girls are the gnomish equalivelnt of 12-year-olds. But hey, they'll see more gold as cohorts to this adventuring party than would have passed through their village in their whole lifetimes.
In other news, the weekend was very good. Went to see The Brothers Grimm with Adam, Jeff, and Suzy. Then we went to the paper factory and Suzy and I tried on Halloween costumes. There was a Strawberry Shortcake costume there, and I had to try it on simply because of the Penny Arcade strip. It was cute. I loved the hat and the stockings.
I have a chem test in 40 minutes, and I should be studying, but I did study a lot this weekend and I think if I cram too hard my brain will just ooze out through my ears.
I'm sure that I have more things that I intended to mention on here, but I can't remember how long ago my last post was at this exact moment, so I'm going to leave it at that.

Dinner Par-tay
So, last night my grandmother and I went to Dr. Thomas' house for dinner. We got there at six and didn't leave till after eleven. It was a very good time. We started with cheese, crackers, and a nice little vodka fruity drink, then we had some wine, then we had homemade pizza and some more wine, then we had a bit more wine, then we had some champaign to celebrate the fact that Jessica got a new job, then we had a German cake and some Greek dessert wine. I must say, I was rather sleepy by the time the evening was over. It was very pleasant.
In other news, my grandmother and I went shopping yesterday, and I got many cool things. My favorite thing, though, is material and sequins for us to make bellydancing scarves with. ^_^ That is what we'll be doing today.
Friday was also a very good day—I went to the Toby Lightman concert with Savannah and Harriet and Artie, which was pretty good, then we went back to Savannah and Harriet's house to watch Attack of the Killer Tomatoes which was hilarious.
Adam and I watched another fun-filled episode of Beastmaster on Friday night, too. It was great. Tao tried to leave Dar, but Dar followed him and ended up saving his life again. And now they will be together forever. It's sweet. ^_^

Belly dancing and The Stoneboro Fair
Today has ended up pretty decently. At least I got to go and belly dance with Savannah and Suzanne. Classes are not even worth mentioning.
But on to things that are. As pretty much anyone who reads this knows, I returned home for the Great Stoneboro Fair (Always on Labor Day) last weekend. I took along Savannah and Adam this year, and much fun was had by all. On the first night of the weekend, we snuck into the fair because we didn't feel like paying eight dollars to walk around. We climbed over fences. we walked through mud. We climbed under yet more fences. And then we walked around. Then we went to Josh's house and watched bad old kung fu movies.
On the first day of the weekend, Josh joined us and we went for a 12 mile hike around Lake Wilhelm, then Savannah, Adam, and I went to the Wilhelm Winery open house, where we drank wine and bought more, and it was Savannah's first wine tasting, then we went back to my house and squeezoed tomatoes for my mother to make into sauce. We had fun doing chores. Really. The only downside was the mosquitoes.
Then on Sunday Josh again joined us and we went to the fair for 10 glorious hours of fun. We rode rides. We ate food. We looked at bunnies. We watched fireworks. Then we returned to my house and drank wine and talked. *happy sigh* It was a good weekend. My mother made us breakfast and dinner and so we got to eat pancakes and steak.
The squeezo makes fun noises. heh heh heh.
And Adam and I have started watching Beastmaster, which is such a terrible show, but it's just hilarious.
And now it is late and I must away to bed. I'll try not to let so many things happen before my next post.

I love Grant.
Thanks, Grant. I really needed that email, especially right now. I'll give more info later about the timing. But I just wanted to say thanks. You seem to be the only person that really understands right now.
Back in Bradford
So, I'm back at school. Some things are good, like getting to game again and being back with my friends, but other things are bad.. like the food and classes. My chemistry class is pointless, my economics isn't bad, but I don't know anyone there, my lit class is full of dumb people with big mouths... But really, on M-W-F suck. T-H should be good, with ceramics and Baily's Beads. And then four hours of work.. *sigh* And this year they are really cracking down on our policies and stuff.
Well, I'm off to go work out pretty soon, so I must away to get ready for that.
