Things to look forward to!

Suzanne asked me if I wanted to go to the Autumn Equinox celebration in Erie, and of course I said yes. It sounds like it is going to be very cool. It's on September 21, I'm excited. Also, I'm done with work on Friday, then I'm flying out to Philadelphia on Saturday. I'm staying with Artie, and hopefully Adam will be able to make it up too, so I'll get to see him.

Also.. ONLY 4 DAYS LEFT AT WERNER'S!!! WOOOOOT!

I hate working afternoons.

Seriously. Give me midnights any day. Afternoons just suck sooo hard. It cuts right into anything else that I want to do, and it's sooooo hot in the factory. And I had to work it last week, and I am going to be working it again this week. It's definitely making me look forward very much to being done at Werner's.

I had a good weekend, though. Yesterday, I went hiking with Josh, then we went to his company picnic, then we went to the fair, then we watched movies, and then I came home. I don't know what I'm going to do with the rest of today yet, but I'm hoping that it's something at least mildly entertaining.

So, now I belong to Wendy

Since she was the last one to claim me in the hot tub on Saturday night. ^_~ Saturday rocked as a day, really. Artie and I went to lunch with my cousin Becky, then I drove up to West Hickory. We got there around 2:30ish, and we spent the rest of the evening hanging out with Jeff, Suzy, Grant, and Wendy. We played some Settlers of Catan, ate a lot of food, drank some alcoholic beverages, and sat in the hot tub. Then we watched The Order (the one with Heath Ledger, not the one with Jean Claude Van Dam). Soon after that I passed out on the couch (I was tired, not drunk, I stopped drinking around 8 which upset Jeff because it meant that Wendy and I did not end up making out)

On Sunday, we had a lovely breakfast, then Artie and I had to head back to my house because he was driving back to Philadelphia. At least that was the plan. He got about an hour away and his truck broke down, so he's actually still here waiting for it to get fixed. So much for the best laid plans of mice and men.. and all that. So we went for a walk last night around Lake Wilhelm (Well not all the way around since it's 12 miles and we started around 8:30 pm, we only went to the three mile mark and then we turned back) then we went and hung out with Josh for a little while, then we went star gazing. I saw three shooting starts last night. It was sweet.

Today I have to go to work at 3:oo, because I'm on fucking afternoons. I'm really not very happy about it, because it means that I miss kung fu, and I won't be able to hang out with Josh this week at all since he's going to be in bed by the time I get home from work, and he's at work while I'm home. And dammit, I don't like missing kung fu!! Jim is going to be there on Thursday, and that means a really good workout. *shakes fists at Werner's*

Well, I'm being a bad hostess, and I should get back to my guest. We're going to watch a movie. Woot. ^_^

Hrmm

I ran the a saw in fab again today. It wasn't as bad as yesterday, at least today I don't have any new little burns from the saw chips hitting my arms and neck. And I made rate all day, so I made myself some decent money.

Going to to West Hickory for the weekend, am looking forward to that, it should be a good time.

I begin to wonder if anyone ever reads this, and I must say that I wouldn't blame anyone who does not. Things are good in Jamie land, but they are definitly not at all exciting. Or maybe things are too exciting to post here. You'll never know. =P
